Looking for a way to cut back on your water bill? Start with your toilets. The EPA has a new standard for highly efficient toilets – it’s called the WaterSense label, and it means that the toilet uses far less water and still performs very well. The EPA says that if an average family replaces an older, inefficient toilet with a WaterSense toilet, they could save $1200 per year. On average, a family that upgrades all of the toilets in their house could save nearly $2400 a year.
This month’s special offer is the Gerber Viper toilet which uses just 1.6 gallons of water per flush.
